April 19, 2016 - Hdr Closing Tasting: This was very good and a new wine discovery for me. I think there is some upside of a couple points. 6% Petite. It is seamless and refreshing if that makes sense. After some big Paso Syrahs, this comes across much more balanced yet still with a lot of fruit and complexity. Black raspberry fruit. Some grilled meats on the nose. Medium tannins. Good acidity. Lots of juicy black raspberry fruit. Nice finish.
