July 9, 2020 - Drank with dinner, no formal notes. Doing quite nicely right now, i doubt it has room for meaningful improvement. Drink over the next 6 months, 12 months max. Integrated tannins that have shed their rough edge, balanced nicely with typical Brunello acid. Nice secondary/tertiary aromas and flavors of red fruits, tobacco, leather and soil flavors and aromas. Doesn't deliver deep complexity, but offers nice balance and profile.

April 16, 2019 - Double decanted 30 minutes before pairing with basil pesto tortellini. An attractive medium ruby in the glass, the very perfumed nose features cherry, violet, orange rind, and sandalwood. Very elegant, though with very good intensity and concentration. Was an excellent pairing, and is probably close to peak but not quite there yet. First of eight bottles.

September 10, 2018 - Candied Cherry-raspberry leathery nose. Tart cherry on the palate. Paired very nicely with Mediterranean meal. Good acid and nice finish. Enjoyable smooth Brunello that is drinking well for me now. IMHO 2011 drinks fine early. 91.

April 5, 2018 - PnP'd...a medium ruby in the glass with thinning edges and slow-forming legs, the nose beckons with cherry, raspberry, sandalwood, camphor, rose petal and violet. Good intensity with medium body and a long, satisfying finish. This has improved since a year ago, and with ample acidity should improve further.
