June 3, 2012 - Decanted for an hour (needs at least an hour for the wine's complexity to come together) . Blackberry and earthy on the nose. Dark red in color. Mild tannin, meaty. Short finish, but leaves a slight earthy / butter scotch aftertaste.

September 23, 2011 - Upon opening this was a little flat, with some mustiness. Good fruit but not much structure and a short finish. Seemed to improve quite a bit after decanting for an hour, with tannins coming out and greater structure. Seems ripe, drink now.
