January 12, 2020 - Very unusual for an American chardonnay. Nose of Vitamin B and gunpowder with mild pear and lemon fruit on the palate.

April 30, 2019 - The best possible intersection of old world ideas and new world fruit, my perfect kind of chardonnay. Pale yellow, intense yet generous, steely but fruity, thrilling acidity and absolutely nothing tropical about it. And it doesn't show any age. This is a California chardonnay that ages like real Burgundy, and '14 was the kind of vintage that will age well. These should chill till 2024 easy.
