SUBAR Does not like this wine:
December 16, 2019 - Meh. This was not good. Cloudy with a fine sediment that could not be filtered out. Used to deglaze pan for beef stew, then sipped on what was left. Did not have berries on palate as noted by previous reviewers. Was not corked but maybe there was a problem with this bottle. This was a gift from someone.

September 23, 2017 - Good with steak. Does not need a lot of breathing.

May 30, 2017 - Pretty good Malbec, but not blown away. Would probably order in a restaurant if we were in the mood for a Malbec and it was on the menu, or found a bottle in a shop, but not rushing to stock up on it.
Edit - 2nd day. We drank half the bottle the first day and left the other half in the decanter overnight at room temp. The next evening I had another glass hoping to like it better than the first night (as is typical for many wines we allow to sit overnight). Actually liked it much less. Will probably discard the remainder. Not likely to purchase again. -

April 26, 2017 - Certainly better than the previous bottle. I would agree with a previous reviewer that this is similar to a shiraz. Intense berry flavor with a touch of oak. Nice balance of fruit, tannins and acidity.

April 17, 2017 - Appearance: Very dark garnet, inky, purple haze near rim.
Aroma: Very berry like shiraz, Alcohol up front, but it blows off quickly, blueberry, strawberry, very slightly tannic.
Flavor: Very sweet berry, dark bush berries, blueberry, loganberry, boysenberry, all berry, no pepper or leather or bacon, all berry, very similar to a berry bomb shiraz, in a very good way of course.
Overall: Tasty, not tannic, berry blast! Enjoyed with grilled ribeye's, really liked this wine with the grilled beef. We would drink again with the same grilled beef dinner.
