September 27, 2009 - From 375 ml. This was opened for a quick glass, then stuck back in the fridge w/o a cork. A few days later, I notice it, pull it out and pour a glass expecting to find nothing good. So wrong. Still had excellent acidity and restrainted fruit. Really nice with shrimp ceviche.

February 15, 2009 - Green gold. Green apple skin, honey, hazelnut and white flowers with more than a suggestion of age but not at all dead. Brisk and lean in the mouth with the honey and nut flavors kept in check by serious mouth watering acids. Make me think that this is more aligote than chardonnay as the acids have remained so prominent. The finish is at once creamy from age and fresh and minerally from the acids. Not for the faint of heart but interesting. I would bet another(better) bottle that there is at least some aligote here...

November 29, 2008 - With turkey dinner. Crisp and minerally, this is a chard that goes with lots of different foods, including oysters. On the Chabils spectrum in terms of style. 3.5++

July 20, 2007 - Medium gold. Smells like fino sherry. Taste like oaky fino sherry. Nice if you like fino sherry. Not sure about this as white burg however...

February 11, 2007 - Not as crisp as before, the oak is still very clear and the wine has now gained considerable fat. Acidity feels lower than on previous bottles, no minerality to speak about, just quite ripe chardonnay with a lot of wood. Enjoyable if that's your kind of thing.
