January 21, 2017 - Found this in the back of the cellar and thought it would be over the hill...but much to my surprise it was big, aromatic,, and quite excellent overall.

March 2, 2008 - dark purple going to blue at the edges. super high alc. needs a long decant.
strong floral Lilac nose backed by intense cherry juice. slightly dark chocolate.
very strong tannin backbone,spice, sour cherry and nicely acidic.
soy sauce like finish. -

January 9, 2007 - Cassis, white pepper, and prune in the nose. Spicy finish dominated by blackberry. Tannins were noticeable when opened, but died out quickly -- may have been mistaken for dry flavors. Drink fairly soon. Nice wine.
