October 28, 2019 - Has shed the bubble gum of youth. The black cherry, spicy fruit is energetic, bright and precise. Was the perfect red with a light homemade tomato ragu with mushrooms and meatballs. Ideal drinking at 4 years, and makes me see anew why it is planted so widely in the Piedmont appellation. Drink 2019-2022

May 29, 2017 - Fragrant nose, pleasant fruit flavors.
Medium purple color.
Popped and poured and softened a little as time passed, although structure held strong. Medium to Full in the mouth, nice finish.

February 19, 2017 - Fresh, Beaujolais-like, lively red and blue fruits. Delicious with great balance. A tarter version of this might well develop further, but this is an early drinking quaffer. 4+13+15+5
