  June 22, 2016 - Pale yellow with a reticent nose of citrus and peach.
  
  Lemon, tropical flowers, a touch of vanilla and a slightly sour finish. Slightly creamy with good acidity, a mineral streak and a clipped finish. 13.1% abv. The wine tasted quite young to me, recommend laying sideways 12-24 months.
  
  It must be said that the artwork on the label is remarkably beautiful. I appreciate the attention to detail. 87-88 and should improve.

  June 20, 2016 - The Other 7% of California (Chicago, IL): This is a bit of an oddball. The nose on this is super aromatic, which brings to mind the likes of Gewürztraminer. When I smelled it, I picked up some sickly sweet and cloying character, but then when you taste the palate, it's got some bracing white fruit and acids and a real steely quality about it. Somewhat spicy, with a touch of pineapple. The palate is really far removed from the nose in character, but this is pretty good nonetheless.
