  May 4, 2021 - Beautiful dark purple color in the glass. Interestingly, I am getting a yeast aroma on the nose. Nice level of bright red fruit--raspberry, plum on entry. Fruit is subdued as the wine passes back--it seems to evolve to muted blackberry. Something akin to road tar (Remember when that descriptor was the rage 20 years ago?) under the rear palate. Terrific acid and still sturdy tannin make this a grown up wine.

  August 24, 2019 - This is an excellent expression of syrah. Deep flavors coat the mouth from start to finish. Wine is balanced with long finish. This wine will get even better with a bit of age. Enjoy now or cellar and be rewarded. Great wine Mike!!
