August 5, 2019 - Fruit forward, abundant dark fruit notes, not as complex as I expected, but a pleasing wine

July 2, 2016 - Good wine. Opened and let breathe for an hour. Not quite up to par with Blair Fox's other wines, but still very good. Dark color, medium body, medium finish. Flavors primarily include blackberry and blueberry with an underlying dusty cocoa. I'm not sure this wine will improve too much more with age but perhaps I may try the next in a year or so. This bottle hit its peak flavor about 2-3 hours in.
