March 11, 2023 - Cork was a little dry. Pours relatively translucent, aged brick, medium quick legs. First nose is sweet, strawberry licorice. Some air brings out clove spice. Oooohh... but whoop whoop! What a palate!! Lots of sweet red fruit up front, red cherries, red plum, giving way to boysenberry and cola mid palate. The finish sits on the middle of your tongue, more than in the back, with earth, black tea and tobacco lingering a while. Tannins are mild, acidity medium, but theres a spiciness that makes everything work together so nicely. One of the better pinots I've opened in a while! I think I've opened this one JUST in time!

May 10, 2020 - Darker and denser in color than most Pinots. Muted nose with hints of cheery. Quite spicy on the palate with bright, sour cherry and a hint of watermelon. Savory with a hint of minerality on the end with a long finish. Quite delightful.

March 4, 2020 - Pleasant enough. A bit stern with an underlying acidic note along with a faint tomato note as well. Nice. Easy to drink but I have better pinots. Fine with pork chops and salad.

October 6, 2019 - Burgundy color with a bouquet and flavor of raspberries, earth, and diluted allspice. Easy to drink with no rough edges, but a bit too restrained for my taste. Even so, well balanced and pleasant with a moderate finish.
