February 5, 2020 - Two visits to Waiheke Island (Easter 2019 and New Year's 2020) (Auckland, NZ): A favourite wine of mine I served double blind. Light gold. Cinnamon and other baking spices, honey comb, lemon and mandarin and meadow flower perfumes. A lovely bouquet. On palate, this wine is all about mouth-feel: waxy, viscous and silky, altogether. Weighty, structured and powerful. “Savoury and floral at the same time”, said Simon. Honeyed with peaches, blanched almonds, oranges, dried herbs and melon. Excellent!

March 23, 2019 - Very concentrated, herby and oily. Just balanced in terms of acidity. Not too heavy as some white Rhone wines can be.
