On nose, red currants, tobacco, dark cherry. On palate, medium body, medium acidity, integrated tannins (low) and very long finish. Palate similar to nose + sweet cherry, plum. This has aged beautifully. 92++
Definite re-buy. Paired great with seared Tuna steaks and short ribs. -

September 24, 2021 - Some of my prior comments on this wine have said that my experience has been up and down, with no trend. The downs were consistent with the price point. The ups produced an experience that outperformed the price point. This bottle, my last, well outperformed the price point. I guess I drank it too quickly.

June 3, 2021 - One bottle left. My experience with this wine has been up and down....with no trend. Some bottles were very good and outperformed the price point. This was one of those bottles. Some other bottles were a little disappointing.....perhaps not in relation to the price......but disappointing in light of the really good experiences. Sometimes wine can be a real mystery.
