September 18, 2018 - mature, smooth wine, really enjoyed it bought four more bottles; great price

April 28, 2018 - Beautiful big aromas of blackberry, licorice, black plum, and cedar oak. More dry dark fruits on the palate, and dry cedar / tannins that keepbthe wine somewhat restrained in length.
In a medium body frame, much better with food than a stand alone drinker. A bit metallic and dry fruits on the finish. Difficult to get a read on where this wine is
Headed...either fruit refueled or more dryness awaits.
Try with charcuterie. Aereated and took a good hour to open up.

September 11, 2017 - A very nice, elegant Ribera del Duero. Medium-bodied, but still offers plenty of delicious raspberry, plum and cherry fruit, with very good depth and intensity. Beautifully balanced, with a pleasant, moderate acidity and subtle tannins that are well-integrated. Shows fine length, too. This paired beautifully with the pork ribs that Kerry made. A great food wine - as you would expect - and surprisingly refined and polished. What a screaming bargain at less than $10! Spain simply cannot be beat when it comes to producing wonderful, food-friendly wines like this at such rock-bottom, bargain basement prices.

December 20, 2016 - Really nice qpr. Dark color, nose of cherries, cedar, toasted oak and black plums. Very elegant on the palate with a high level of tannin on replays of Dark cherries and plums. Medium long finish. Excellent qpr. Solid 90.

August 29, 2016 - Great value wine and quite refined for a Crianza. Dark garnet/purple, medium body, powerful red fruits with a hint of tobacco and black pepper on the nose. Spicy bite and moderate tannins. Short finish is only fault I can identify. Will try to find more at this price.
