  March 27, 2019 - Vanskelig kork, grumsete oransjerød. Klassisk bordeauxnese. Tobakk, parfyme, blomster og tobakk på nese. Syrlig kompleks munn med kaffe, tobakk, moreller, kirsebær og dadler. 89 Sliten vin. Dør nesten umiddelbart etter skjenking. Drink fast :)

  January 10, 2009 - Tasted as part of a 1979 vertical Bordeaux tasting hosted by nephew ATBridge in celebration of his birth in 1979, 30 years ago. In 1979, this Chateau was considered an underachiever. I thought this, however, was the #4 WOTN. Smoke, petrol, leather on the nose; blackberries, cherries, tannins on the palate; medium-long finish. Overall, the best '79's were fairly enjoyable; most were just OK; some were undrinkable.
