October 24, 2021 - Floral++. Ample et rond. Soyeux. Certaine minéralité. À point.
Parfait avec un Tomahawk de veau, sauce au fromage de chèvre!

April 17, 2017 - Cork closure. Well chilled. Bought Waitrose approx £21.00

This bottle not as charming as previous bottles of the same vintage from this (normally) reliable Sancerre producer, hence this time a lower mark. This one drier, with a green unripe edge to it, tighter and less generous.

C....solid medium body. Light straw with green tinge.

N.....lovely sweaty wet wool impression, some nice limestone earthy minerals.

T.....defo a French Sav Blanc, nothing near NW here. Hints of a complex wine to come later, but at moment a fresh acidity, reasonable fruit (but not rich or lush/full as previous bottles this same vintage) , this one finishes drier than I expected. A solid core of grassy green capsicum. Tighter. Not a massive disappointment - just different than I expected, having had at least 2 previous bottles.

VFM? OK only. Will still try the 2015 when it arrives in UK. By most accounts, 2015 Loire near-excellent vintage
