April 22, 2024 - This wine doesn't disappoint. Continues to be fresh and lively with good acid and a clean finish. Great sub for Burgundy as it has more going on than your typical Muscadet and drinks more like a Chard.

July 30, 2023 - Penultimate of 6 bottles, last consumed this wine 2 yrs ago.
Has increased palate density when compared to my note from 2 yrs ago.
Lime zest, rocks and chalk, paired with saltiness (like the best margherita ever...).
Zippy acidity, stones and chalk on the longish finish. Drink through 2030+ but I like the freshness right now.
Gorgeous wine for the $25 cost of admission.

February 11, 2023 - What can I say? I'm not sure there is a better QPR in wine than Clisson. I love these wines, and from a double magnum this was extra-fun. Served with a shellfish medley, this was a great crowd pleaser for dinner. I did find that it lost some structure a few hours into the meal and I was looking for something with more punch - that could be the hot 2015 vintage, it could be palate fatigue - I had already had a bit to drink!

January 9, 2023 - Drank from Magnum. Great showing and perfect pairing for Xmas eve Dungeness crab & sole meuniere. Lithe and endlessly drinkable - it's swapped some of its bracing acidity when young for honeyed fruit character as expected.

June 18, 2022 - From a double magnum. Everyone who references the sea is correct. There is just a ton of minerality on this. Sea salt, brine, wet stone, oyster shells all "washing" (ha ha) over a backdrop of lemon zest lime, white pepper and fresh herbs. Medium bodied, medium + acid but still pretty rounded.
