August 13, 2023 - What a fun wine. 2014 definitely an undervalued vintage. Funky, nice acidity, firm & juicy tannins. Had a really cool mushroom/earthy note going on in the mid-palate. Nice pepper on the finish.

Still young with powerful tannins. Lovely black pepper on the palate. Later Some leather and tobacco notes.

February 22, 2019 - Early drinking, open, medium bodied, soft textured wine. The character here is about the peppery, kirsch and strawberry center with nuances of underbrush, herbs and olives.
