September 10, 2019 - One more of my Lynmar pinot stash. PnP with vigorous swirling. Relatively muted nose with black cherries, black tea and a bit of wet forest floor/pine needles. Consistent notes on the palate with baking and other spices. Lots of ripeness, silky and integrated tannins, light acidity. Dark colored, full-bodied, medium to thick legs. Great match with grilled chicken and vegetables. Delicious, voluptuous pinot--one of my favorites of the Lynmar lot--which could have been even better, not to sound like a broken record or anything, if it had a bit more acidity to balance the vibrant fruit. In a perfect drinking window. 92+

March 3, 2018 - A great representation of a big, extracted, riper style of CA pinot that still maintains acidity and balance. Don't go to Sonoma expecting Burgundy...
