Community Tasting Notes 2

October 23, 2020 - Deep straw and color. Lovely nose of right peaches, orange peels, and autumnal spices. Taste of apple cider, peaches, done with spices, and a hint of cherries. Lovely acidity and balanced fruit. Drinking nicely for 18 years old. Drink now and over the next five years.

April 30, 2006 - First time trying this producer.
Light yellowish color. On the nose, minerals, orange blossoms and a whiff of petrol.
On the palate, this is slightly thick with citrus notes and peach pitts.
The wine finishes a bit short though with an okay acidity.
No way this is a spatlese, I would say a declassified Auslese because this is fairly sweet.
    Consistent notes on day 2.
I have more and will leave them alone for a couple of years.
