January 1, 2024 - Rich tart/sweet cherry fruit. Spicy. Stem inclusion adds significant bitterness which contrasts against the fruit to provide complexity (winemaker notes say 50% whole cluster). Good acidity.

    My last Biggio Hamina.

November 11, 2023 - Brian Glas is right. This $hitty Todd Hamina wine is absolutely delicious. Lovely red fruits and the texture is like drinking liquid cashmere. I would never tire of drinking Biggio Hamina wines, and sadly, I am now down to two bottles. WHY DID YOU RETIRE TODD?!?!?

December 24, 2022 - Tasted after 1 hour of air. Medium ruby color. Crunchy raspberry fruit. Nice high toned lift and tea notes on the mid palate. Very complex and interesting. Excellent balance. Long finish.

June 4, 2022 - Tasted after 2 hours of air. Another truly $hitty Todd Hamina wine. Bob Wood would have approved of this. Full of nasty stems which I love. Red cherry fruit with some firm crunch. Excellent balance and some nice tension here. Some spice. Great finish. Very interesting wine.

November 5, 2021 - First bottle from this producer. It was enjoyable with a fresh nose of fresh cherry, strawberry, and raspberry followed by some floral notes and a hint of baking spices. The palate has lovely balance, good lift, fairly elegant and a lovely finish. Enjoyable, but not memorable.
