March 21, 2023 - Brioche dominate, with toasted almond and lemon curd on the nose.
Palate shows notes of Granny Smith apple, lime, marzipan, and a chalky minerality, with very fine and enjoyable bubbles. High acidity, med body. Enjoyable now. -

we had two great champagnes before with dosages under 2g/l. So it felt a bit unbalanced and too sweet. Baroque style which I like normally. 91 -

September 29, 2022 - Charles Heidsieck winemaker Dinner (12 cuvees) (Kong Hans): One of my favourite standard cuvees is usually Charles Heidsieck's brut Reserve. It contains so much reserve wine that it in general appears both more mature and more complex than other standard cuvees. During this tasting I had 12 different cuvees. Sad to say, but none of them impressed me. One cuvee scored 93, the rest between 88-92.
This wine: Brut Reserve lived up to the standard. On the other hand not one of the best examples because the base-year is 2015. Lots of green, apple, red apple and a little overripe apple. Also lots of bread dough. -

July 1, 2021 - Peiring av husoverlevering. Fin lukt av eple, honning og marsipan . Kraftig smak som endres en del i glasset. Frisk og ganske fast ettersmak som sitter leeenge. Intens vin. 1 dag i flaske: rik fukt i dag. Laid in chalk chellar 2016. Dieg. 2019

May 10, 2018 - Zest of yellow fruits with the smell of a well seasoned pizza crust that seemed to dominate the smell of the wine. Really tasty and fine bubbles
