Community Tasting Notes 4

January 4, 2021 - Overall a nice Chardonnay, paired very well with some spicy chicken but lacked complexity and depth of character.

Color is pale to medium gold. Med(+) intensity on the nose with aromas of lemon, lemon bar, overripe pear, minerals, yellow peach, and vanilla.
On the palate a full body with high acidity with a smooth feel. Medium alcohol. Med(+) intensity with flavors of lemon, lemon rind, white peach, and minerality. No noticable oak flavors.
    Med(-) finish.

Would recommend consuming now and not holding any longer.

September 26, 2019 - Off of restaurant list at premier Omakase restaurant in Manhattan. Wanted something crisp and refreshing and definitely not your typical oaky Chardonnay. This fits the bill! Crisp, bright reminiscent of some Chablis. Chardonnay nose more noticeable compared to the actual taste. Pale colored. Really a bare *hint* of Chardonnay just the way I prefer it. Beautiful pairing w sushi.

July 29, 2018 - IPNC Weekend 2018; 7/26/2018-8/2/2018 (Linfield College, McMinnville, OR): Pale gold color. Off the restaurant list. Very enjoyable, nice purity with white peach, melon, lemon and hints of lychee, mineral, medium body, very clean and refreshing. 90+ to 91pts.

April 24, 2018 - Oregon Wine Geek Week Grand Tasting; 4/24/2018-4/26/2018 (University Club, St. Paul, MN): Tasting pour. Good, crisp, oak, light body, edgy though. Expected more.
