    January 29, 2022 - Exemplary Okanagan Syrah.

January 15, 2022 - If you have any, do yourself a favour and drink it now.. Best Okanagan Syrah I’ve ever tasted.. Woody cooked fruit nose, whiff of menthol and baking spice. Luxurious and soft mouthfeel. Just the slightest lingering hint of tannins, but very soft. Lingering gentle finish. Just spectacular.. 8 years is a great period of time for Okanagan wines the way my cellar behaves..

November 14, 2020 - I’d say 6 years is the sweet spot for this wine. Some of the rough edges and imbalances from earlier tastings are all gone and the integration is excellent.

August 30, 2020 - A floral and fruit bomb! One of the best bottles I had so far, unfortunately I believe this was my last bottle :( Definitely at its peak and offering very bold and "sexy" aromas of raspberry jam, lilac and meat; it's quite complex. It's just missing some acidity to balance all the other components of the wine...that being said, it's not heavy and its still very easy and enjoyable to drink. Decant for at least an hour. For those of you "youngsters", if this wine was a person, I think it would be Cardi B :)

July 1, 2020 - If you like new world Syrah, you'll be delighted by this juicy bomb. With time I feel this wine is now bigger, broader and more powerful than a few years ago. You still get floral (lilac) and red berries aromas, but I now get more dark chocolate and coffee as secondary aromas. This was perfect with some pork burgers on charcoal. By experience, I tend to prefer the LFNG Syrah in its first 4 years, but this one seems to be aging just fine and is still very interesting...if you like this style. Enjoy now or over the next 2 years.
