December 30, 2023 - From 375 kept in my basement, not in the cellar proper.
Rich nose of Christmas cake and other Port-y goodness! Medium-full bodied, this is absolutely delicious! Spicy and loaded with eucalyptus, black cherry, white pepper. Delicious now, properly cellared 750s should last a decade or more! 93

September 24, 2023 - Had this open over 3 days. It definitely needs a 6-hr decant to relax. I Blackberry, Blueberry, violets and charcoal on the aroma. On the attack the body is silky and sensual, being both oily and chalky/dusty. This wine is always a joy to drink. This bottle hits at 93 points tonight for me.

February 18, 2023 - Sammamish Port Club - February 2023 (Sammamish, Washington): 375ml. Bottled in 2015. Dark purple with some garnet on the edges. Some aromas of primary fruit and an old dusty library. Intense primary fruit with massive tannins, blackberries blueberries, and cassis. Long finish with chocolate and a touch of cloying sweetness

October 8, 2022 - I'm not an expert on (late bottled) vintage port at all. Quite a lot of alcohol on the nose for me, some really dark, spicy fruit as well. The palate starts off quite sweet but gets more savory and serious on the mid palate. Beautiful acidity here but really tannic still, seems very, very young and structured. As said not my field of expertise, but I would wait. Quite long finish
    16.5/20?

August 20, 2022 - Sammamish Port Club Grab Bag (Sammamish, Washington): Bottled in 2015. Very dark purple in color. Cassis and black currant on the nose. Chocolate and blackberry notes on the palate. Medium body initially but on subsequent tastes the body appears to fill out more. Great structured tannins. Long finish.
