Community Tasting Notes 6

August 5, 2019 - Good level Graves, especially for its price. Ripe yellow fruit countered by a high acidity. Some mineral notes too. Something sharp in the aftertaste. This can hold for quite a while

January 29, 2018 - This style of white bordeaux is great! with a pale lemon(-green) colour. On the nose, this wine is developing with quite some oak notes as well as lemon, peach, apple, apricot, pineapple and acacia. Oak notes come in the form of vanilla, toast, cedar and nutmeg. A tiny hint of yeast for brioche. The palate is dry with medium + acidity, medium alcohol, medium + body, which makes it a lovely gastronomical wine with medium + intensity and a long finish. The is quality very good and ageing potential.

November 20, 2016 - Tamed yellow grapefruit, fig, lemon, hay. Less ripe. A bit closed, goes down like water. Nothing offensive to be found, but not a lot there to grab onto.

November 5, 2016 - A private lunch (Restaurant Breda, Amsterdam, NL): Lovely ripe and juicy Sémillon fruit, with a hint of honey, elegant vegetal notes, supported by the warmth from a hint of wood, lovely balance and length. Very pleasing.
