December 31, 2017 - Deep dark reddish-purple in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of dark cherries, blueberries & raspberries with overtones of floral & earthy/dusty notes, spices, minerals & a hint of herbs in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of sour cherries, sweet blueberries & pomegranate with spices, minerals & a touch of dried herbs. Lingering finish. An absolutely lovely Dolcetto with the structure & fruit to continue development further with an additional aging.

October 2, 2017 - This one had much less of the heavy reduction that the last bottle suffered. Composite cork perfect. Color purplish garnet. Swishing shows some acid but more tannin structure. Sipping shows full fruit and good weight. I would wait a little longer if I had more. I think that this will settle more.

August 27, 2017 - Soft but full bodied red. Nice complement to italian sausage/potato/pepper bake. Very dry, not sweet (name?) I liked it very much.
