August 12, 2023 - PNP, nice Brunello, good fruit, earthy, yet balanced, fully integrated but should hold for several more years.

January 15, 2022 - After 50-min decant: Well balanced. Medium complexity. Cherry, blackberry, clay, smoked paprika. Lively acidity. Silky integrated tannins. Long finish.

February 6, 2021 - Method: blind; 64 degrees; Grassl Liberte glass

Nose: clay pot, black licorice, leather, cherry, potpourri

Palate: cherry, paprika, cola, clay pot, leather; long finish of leather, rose, dried thyme; dry; medium+ drying tannin; medium acidity

Overall thoughts: Nice complexity, but I'm not a fan of these tannins. I think I'd like this more in 5+ years. Good wine, but it's too young for me.

January 7, 2021 - Very impressed at how well this is drinking. Rich dark fruits, silky tannins, impeccable balance and lightness. A great wine.

December 26, 2020 - Decanted and tasted, wow this is good so rich, smooth dark fruit, plum, black cherry, currants, paired exceptionally with prime rib and roasted root veggies.

Full Pull Reoffers: The Killer Bs (+Shipping REMINDER), 3/19/2018

(Poggio Antico Brunello di Montalcino) Shipping REMINDER: This is the final reminder that our spring shipping window is beginning to open now, and we’ll be sending out shipments as different areas of the country reach appropriate temperatures. A few notes for our shipping list members: 1. During our open shipping window, *we ship wine as it is confirmed (in 12-bottle increments)* as long as those shipments do not lead to delivery-date conflicts with dates blocked off in the Shipping Calendar tab of your online account. 2. Please check your shipping address. Please make sure the shipping address in your Full Pull account is correct, and it’s an address where an adult will be present to sign for your packages. 3. Please update your shipping calendar. The Shipping Calendar tab is part of your online account. Within that tab, you can block off any dates where you *do not* wish to receive shipments. ---- Hello friends. This month’s slate of reoffers comes from the killer Bs of Italy: Barbaresco, Brunello, and Barolo. All three were autumn/winter offers, so many of you who purchased on initial offer have had a chance to see what all the fuss is about. And no surprise: all three have been popular reorder targets since. We have pricing at about 35% off the $69 release for a brilliant Brunello from an accessible vintage now entering peak drinking at eight years past harvest. Poggio Antico’s estate is notable for its elevation; at 1500 feet some of the highest vines in Montalcino, resulting in transparent, ageworthy expressions of Sangio from one of the world’s beating hearts of this noble grape. Originally offered November 2017. Archive.

Full Pull The Different Sides Of Sangio, 11/17/2017

(Poggio Antico Brunello di Montalcino) Hello friends. Today marks two exciting occasions. The first, a chance to show off the many sides of Sangiovese, the cherry-leather darling of Italy. The second, a chance to finally finish building the wood-box wall at Full Pull’s warehouse. We have pricing at about 35% off the $69 release for a brilliant Brunello from an accessible vintage now entering peak drinking at eight years past harvest.
