  April 10, 2022 - Great wine. Decanted an hour. Opened a little earthy with some old blue fruit. We’re thinking good but 91-ish. By hour 4, the purple fruit had taken over, the oakiness lightened and we’re sAying 95 and we wish there was a few more ounces. One left which will last a few more years minimum.

  July 3, 2020 - A very fine bottle. Great structure and balance of fruit with earthy notes. Delivered with finesse that doesn’t attack the palate like many NV cabs can do.

  October 19, 2019 - Fantastic. I shouldn’t grade because i want all the bottles. Great blend of dark red and purple grapes. Soft tannins and a little spice blended in.

  May 26, 2018 - The wine has aged gracefully with tannins pliable but still with some strength to allow further aging. Dark purple and excellent staining shows the fruit was handled with care but with an eye to a rich Napian style. The wine has good acidity and the flavor profile is twofold: first a burst of blue fruit and followed by loamy earth and pencil shavings.
