January 1, 2023 - Just found a note that I drank this from magnum some time in 2023. All I wrote was my rating, and that it displayed good fruit and notes of orange rind. :)

December 9, 2022 - Fun magnum. Chewy mouthfeel, red and dark cherry, medium finish. Prob drank this too young but unclear if it will evolve to a higher plane.

December 23, 2020 - Crimson color with a moderate, characteristic funk on the nose shortly after opening. Medium weight with not tannic grip, but plenty of acidity to carry this forward a little longer... just not likely to improve. Happy with my purchase at <$40, but not a "must have" wine.

March 24, 2016 - Salon des Jeunes Talents - Les Grands Jours de Bourgogne (Tonnellerie de Mercurey - Mercurey France): Tasting, brief note. Red and black cherry aromas and flavors with some leather notes. Well balanced, nicely forward. My favorite of the lineup. Good.
