March 28, 2023 - tasty, got a bit of an old world feel, but still unmistakeably Cali.
looking forward to more of it.

July 18, 2021 - Just a wonderful Bordeaux styled wine: concentrated mix of red and black fruits; balanced, well integrated structure; complexity to include evolving secondary and tertiary notes; and a very lengthy and balanced finish. Enjoyed over two days, decanted on day one, and enjoyed with grilled ribeye. Consistent with other prior vintages. Can drink now, but this should continue to develop and drink well for another 5+ years. Excellent.

May 16, 2021 - Popped and poured. Dark crimson color. Nose of mixed red and black fruits with some black cherry, plum, currants along with some vanilla and lightly toasted oak. Still mostly primary with maybe just a bit pencil shaving/graphite coming through. Medium acid and tannin. Very smooth mouthfeel and finish. Slightly sweet, ripe fruit but not overly alcoholic. Nicely balanced. Well made wine and quite tasty but poor QPR.

January 21, 2021 - Despite the high percentage of merlot, the cab came through effortlessly. It's abit on the young side to be drunk now, could be aged for a couple more years.

November 26, 2020 - Excellent. Great velvety and ripe fruit while showing structure and earth. It drank very well.
