Community Tasting Notes 4

February 6, 2011 - Big, opulent wine rich in blackberries and dark fruit. Just popped it. I know we're going to love this. Needs some time in the glass.

February 1, 2011 - There is a lot of plum and blackberry in the nose that remains on thje palate with perhaps some black cherry as well. Deep garent in color with lots of extract and good legs. The wine is thick on the tongue and very full mouth of fruit and earth. The fnish is pleasant but not particualrly long and beomces dominated by the earth and tannins. Softer and more furit was evident on the second day. A pleasant wine that is clearly made to have with food. A nice change from fruit dominated wines from California or down-under.

March 10, 2010 - Dark ruby red in colour. Plum on the nose. Black fruit on palate. Not as complex as I was hoping, but a great food wine.

March 14, 2006 - A very deep, plummy nose with scented blackberries. Very scented attack, with powerful flavours. Very integrated and very impressive. Loads of power, but not to the detriment of its style and character. Very Good Indeed/Excellent.
