  April 25, 2024 - Of course, last bottle in the cellar always the best! Aging wonderfully...still reminding me of a riper aged Cru Chablis...has that iodine, crushed limestone, salty sea air...the fruit is SO pure and crystalline...pitted orchard, butter sauteed green apple...still a huge cut of lemon citrus...blanched almonds...pretty white flower florals...dried honey...REALLY nice balance of richness and energy...just the slightest alc nip and wood spice just to show where you really are...should have plenty more left in the tank on this one...such a great Chardonnay!

  April 7, 2024 - Much better than last time. This wine is evolving nicely. Oak is well integrated, acidity balances the fruit nicely, it feels leaner than I recall and the length on the finish is respectable. Very good bottle.

  March 19, 2024 - Stunningly good. Very butterscotch, but with an intense inner core of acid which is defined and bright. A touch of sweaty saddle, oak tannins, immmense bottle age character. This is opulent, defined, big, complex, huge, and subtle at the same time. Never tiring , this is classic Californian Chardonnay.

  September 23, 2023 - 2014 Mayacamas Mt Veeder Napa Valley Chardonnay. Alc 14.25%. 125th Anniversary Bottling
  Clear moderate yellow
  Nose is fresh with stone and lemons
  Palate is rich and smooth with lemon curd and hint of acacia. No oak showing.
  Good acidity. Long finish. May improve but drinking very well now

  September 2, 2023 - Personally cellared since 11/2016, served near cellar temp.
  This bottle was full of Lemmon butter and toast, with just a hint of vanilla, not up to the previous six bottles tasted, still and interesting and Chardonnay.
