August 26, 2021 - THis wine is still alive. More mineral than fruit at this point. Enjoyable!

April 17, 2021 - I was hoping this would be funkier and cooler since I’ve never had a rose this old before, but as Bryn correctly points out, “it just tastes like rosé”. I agree, but it’s a very savory and sophisticated rose. Vague watermelon rind, green strawberry, barely ripe peach notes. Its good acidity and medium finish are better with food (like pizza!) than as just something to drink by the pool. Wish I would have saved it for a few more years : )

June 20, 2020 - Past peak, no acidity.

May 17, 2019 - In no way flawed but not very distinguished either. Aging didn't add much to the straightforward and rather simple flavors. Unsatisfactory QPR.

May 24, 2018 - First and only bottle, followed over two nights. Believe it or not, this is still alive! Dusty rose color, mild aromatics of green strawberries and hay. Fairly lightweight on the palate with lower flavor intensity. Still retains bright acid. Not much of a finish on it. I would finish up any lingering bottles this summer.

A gamble at this age, but pretty decent all things considered. Surprising how the structure has held up. "Very good," 86/100.
