July 30, 2018 - Quite concentrated and although I love oak, that’s to the fore. Very good, fresh, lemony and sophisticated. But not going to rebuy because it’s slightly too woody for my unsophisticated palate.
Good wine but perhaps paying $10 for the brand here.

October 23, 2017 - Born in the USA (The Great Hall, One Great George Street, Westminster): Buttery, honey, butterscotch, sweet spice especially cinnamon sit with lovely peachy fruit, Spicy rich, juicy with peaches and touches of pineapple. Okay it's a bit American but then why shouldn't it be and, to be honest, it's bloody nice.

July 12, 2017 - 100% Chardonnay, aged in French oak barrels, 30% new.

Medium light straw color. Clear and transparent.

Forward, and expressive aromas. Tropical fruits intermingled with nice toasted nut character.

On the palate, it has a great structure. Med plus plus acidity, med full body (13.5 abv), dry. A balance of freshness, fruit profile, and oak components. Last very long on the finish.

Tasted alongside the 2014 Sanford & Benedict Vineyard bottling. This Los Alamos counterpart is livelier, more stood out, and more truly American. Going to be stellar in 7-10 years. 91++.

February 24, 2017 - Technically correct, mostly uninteresting at this stage and would probably benefit from some time in the bottle.

January 4, 2017 - complex nose of buttered toast, pineapple and citrus follows through to a palate of extraordinary richness, ripeness and silkiness. A really exciting wine with elegance and power in perfect unity.
