Community Tasting Notes 9

October 29, 2023 - Consistent with my general view of CNP, drink it close to cellar temp and lovely red fruits. As it approaches room temp, alcohol comes to the fore. At 60 degrees, this is a very pretty wone

October 11, 2020 - Second Sunday Group: 2010 Bordeaux (aka Bal Masqué) (R&D's): Double decanted off its sediment four hours before dinner. Deep ruby/crimson color with notes of spice, red cherry and currants. Medium-bodied. Flavors of red berry fruit and garrigue...all of that pure grenache goodness shines through in spades. Excellent in an exuberant youthful manner. Drinking well now and should hold for some time at this level.

April 13, 2020 - Over the hill, pruny and all that was left was the alcohol...

April 5, 2020 - Second and last bottle. Still overly sweet, and alarmingly alcoholic. Keep away from open flames. To call it a caricature would be an insult to caricatures.

March 11, 2020 - Gorgeous nose of spice, flowers, and light red fruit. Strawberries predominate. Well balanced and drinking really great now. Based on this bottle, would drink up and not wait.
