  January 23, 2019 - 1/2 bottle, decanted 1-3hr and tasted along the way. 2nd half on day 2.
  Day 1. Big, ripe dark fruit, jammy, spicy, full bodied with long smooth finish.
  Day 2. Less fruit and more alcohol on the nose, still lovely dark fruit and jam and spice on the palette. Always a great TJ wine.

  September 13, 2017 - Paso Robles Wine Trip; 9/12/2017-9/14/2017: Hot and rich on the nose with baked plums, cola, black pepper glazed steak. The palate is bold, juicy, soft tannins, medium-low acidity. Dark and saucy and delish with plums, baked figs and raspberry jam, laced with roasted chestnut, vanilla and cola. Unctuous, big, but well done stuff.
