  October 15, 2017 - This is a true expression of Anderson Valley Pinot. Floral rose petal nose, and that pixie stick fruit. The cranberry and light red fruit's sour side that was there as a youngster is now just an accent. Total balance with a medium finish that leaves your mouth watering for more.

  October 6, 2016 - Great all-rounder. Some spice, some grip (maybe a bit more than I would prefer - definitely a "rustic" character!), some earth, some depth - all with the right kind of dark Anderson Valley fruit. Not trying to be too profound, but certainly a couple of notches above even the good entry-level Pinots. I wish it were priced more like earlier versions of this rendition - closer to $30 than the current $40 - but even now the QPR is excellent. Not necessarily built for aging, and quite scrumptious already in late '16, but I could imagine it going another 2-3 years, probably even better after giving the tannins time to melt in a bit.
