February 15, 2019 - Lighter garnet in color with a beautiful nose of raspberry, not ripe more dried, tar and clay pot with floral- roses and leather. A very balanced medium-full mouth with signature Nebbiolo power with red currant lots of more raspberry, bakers spice, great acidity, lingering and very well integrated tannins. Tannins that used to be super grippy are now powerful yet softened and elegant. Fruit profile is showing lots of drier tertiary notes. This wine is really showing well now and its amazing how a couple of years sitting allowed it to evolve and become the beauty that it is now. This wine has a very old world feel too - Wow! 92+
