August 14, 2019 - Very nice. Zesty, medium fruits, mineral. Showing a bit of the warmer vintage but all in balance. Think this is in a perfect spot right now.

March 8, 2019 - Golden yellow. A hint of petrol on the nose. Apricot and peach fruit. Zingy, crisp acidity. A touch of sweetness on the finish. Very nice, very food friendly

September 23, 2013 - I have to say this wine disappointed on the first night - a lot of fruit, more so than I expected for the producer, but the fruit was a touch blousy and while tasty, the wine lacked the focus and precision I have come to expect from Florian's wines. The great news was that on the second night we had a complete turnaround. The rich fruit had taken a background spot to the striking minerality that I find in most of Lauers wines. The acidity was lively and the palate precise. The richness of the white Mosel fruit gave the wine perfect support to prevent it from going austere. Very classy texture and a long finish - I am probably grinning right now as I am thrilled about the way this wine turned it around. Wish I had more.

December 9, 2012 - Stony, mineral, high strung, light, floral, balanced - you name it, and this wine has it. Slight hint of orange peel and pear, but the fruit really sits in the background. Finish is fresh and smooth considering the high level of acidity. Reductive at first and needed tons of air.

I prefer sweeter rieslings, but this is a great example of a drier variety.

May 30, 2011 - Perceptibly, the driest of the Lauer rieslings we have tried thus far. This has a stony, crystalline texture floating on an almost effervescent pillow of acidity. Terrifically balanced with juicy peach fruit flavors. A ridiculously good QPR.
