January 30, 2023 - Finally adding a tasting note after working my way through 2 bottles over the past couple years.
I'm not incredibly familiar with grappa, but I have had a dozen or so by now, and this is far and away the best I've tasted. -

August 3, 2020 - The smoothest grappa I've had to date. Too bad it's only a blend [of red varietals, including Merlot and Cabernet (Sauvignon?)] and as such not too distinctive flavor-wise, albeit still very tasty. 40% ABV.

November 18, 2017 - A private dinner at a friend's (Baarn, Netherlands): A young Grappa made from the pomace of Cabernet and Merlot grapes. Floral and intense, with herbaceous notes, remarkably smooth and generous for such a young marc, fiery but not rustic or rough.
