October 14, 2022 - Up front, the black and red cherry fruit is quite nice mixed with earth, tobacco, and herb flavors. On the back end, the finish shows cherry fruit cloaked by strong eucalyptus flavors and slightly drying astringent tannin. Other tasting notes of mine of Cabernet from this vineyard highlight a similar astringent issue. So probably a product of this vineyard.
Overall, decent wine, not worthy the price. In a good drinking window, but should hold for at least a few more years. Was better with food.
