January 20, 2022 - From a recently shipped magnum. EYE: Straw gold, flashes of green. NOSE: scented twig marrow. A subdued congress of apple, fig, chocolate, toasted pine nuts, bruised green melon, baked cobbles, and sweet lemon. MOUTH: Absolutely charming! It’s like a room-temperature sherbet flavored of earth, cured lemon, cacao, and spiny herbs. Gently attenuated. Refreshing. There’s a strolling, browsing pace to its looseleaf exposition. Grippy, chalky bones, clung to by strands of lime oil. This is of wild thatch, and of minty Chablis stone. There’s a distant terracotta den filled with cigar smoke and peppermint. The finish gathers into a silk-textured ribbon of golden sunshine-dappled lemons, poppy seeds, and stone.

September 11, 2020 - Nose: Complex aromas of citrus smoke, sun-dried stones, minerals, hint of peach
Mouth: dry, high electric super exciting acid, elegant texture, medium/low body & alcohol, medium+ fruit concentration & length, more ripe and prevalent stone fruit in the mouth
Conclusion: Beautiful Sicilian volcanic aromas paired with a great fruit concentration and an elegant fruity finish.

April 27, 2020 - Consistent with my previous notes, it’s a very nice wine but even with time haven’t improved. Probably is the 2014 vintage, in Italy is a poor one and this is why the wine doesn’t get better

October 6, 2018 - Mineral, tropical fruits, full bodied, salty , great refreshing acidity. Will improve more with time
