  May 1, 2016 - Wine from Sweden! How bizarre! Even though the beautiful island where these grapes (the varietal is regent) have grown is among the parts of Sweden that actually sees a lot of sun in the summer months.
  
  First whiff is all brutal oak torture for the nose. Gosh!
  
  But then it fades quite quickly leaving way for a lot of nice berries in an aromatic cocktail that is faintly "international" on the nose and quite nice. However, the palate is thin, a little harsh and unbalanced with some alcoholic heat and metallic tannins dominating the short finish.
  
  After some initial hesitation, I award it two extra points just for being Swedish and the sheer level of ambition in creating this unique expression of Bacchus copyrighted brew - 78 feels like a Solomonic judgement.

  April 24, 2016 - Nice purple color, the nose is quite light and green with raspberry bushes and blueberries. The taste can however not match up the nose, sour, but without acidity, a big hole where the fruit should be, turpentine instead of oak. By far the worst wine of the year, possibly the worst of the millennium.

  April 23, 2016 - Vacker mycket klar och lite ljus vinröd i färgen. Förväntningarna var mycket låga så när det kändes som ett riktigt vin på första doften blev jag klart positivt överraskad, men tyvärr höll det inte i sig så länge. Dekanterade det och provade det under 6 timmar. Fanns en lite svag och diskret brettig stallukt i doften som försvann efter några timmar. I övrigt doft som känns ung med lite söta hallon och åkerbär, lite som en hallonläsk. Smaken påminner om doften men rejält blaskig och har sedan ett lite beskt avslut. Lite ek, ganska bra syra men tanninerna har de glömt tillsätta. Till maten blev det så blaskigt att det inte gick att bedöma (kycklingbröstburgare). Om man glömmer att det är ett vin skulle det nog fungera som måltidsdryck en vanlig lunch i stället för lingondricka men inte som vin.
  
  Så poängmässigt drygt 80 som måltidsdryck men 10 p lägre som vin.

  April 17, 2016 - Ripe, nearly jammy, dark fruits on the nose (blackcurrant, blackberries, blueberries), with faint hints of oak.
  
  In the palate acidity dominates; almost too much on the one hand, but on the other hand a nice counterpoint to the jammy fruit. Tannins are few but rather fine.
  
  A bit one-dimensional and not much length to speak about, but correct and fairly pleasant.

  April 10, 2016 - Doft: Bärig av hallon och björnbär, ganska jordigt, lakrits, torkade örter och peppar
  Smak: Ganska lätt och "vattnigt". Bärigt och tydligt kryddigt.
  
  Detta är ju ett "vanligt" vin! Ett väldigt enkelt sådant men ändå; hade nog förväntat mig något mer udda (tidigare erfarenheter av svenskt vin har bjudit bl.a. på väldigt annorlunda gröna toner). Positiv överraskning på ett sätt men också en liten besvikelse på ett annat sätt; det har ju inte så mycket egen karaktär utan är ett rätt tråkigt, enkelt vin som hade kostat bra mycket mindre om det kommit från något traditionellt vinland.
