  March 12, 2022 - Delicious. Smooth. Lots of fruit, but not sweet. Easy to drink. Paired well with grilled spspice sausage and cole slaw. Has the body to stand up to bold flavors.

  January 12, 2021 - Very drinkable. Paired well with Keto pizza and a salad with a pungent blue cheese dressing. A little bitter at the end. Full mouth feel. We think it needed more time to open. We'll know tomorrow with what we have left.

  February 28, 2019 - I'm not a fan of Zinfandel at all--and even had Calcareous remove me from their quartely shipment "club" because they kept sending me Zins and ZSMs. But...I actually thought this was a decent wine that we enjoyed with an upscale spaghetti and meatballs (seriously). The addition of Syrah and Mourvedre seemed to take the sweet edge off the Zin and made for an easy drinking and tasty red. I'm not going to get back on the Calcareous list over this one bottle, but can say that I'm not dreading having to drink the 4 bottles I have cellared.

  January 25, 2019 - Way better than my last bottle. A one hour decant was very beneficial. Very silky mouth feel. A wine that you can taste all three varietals, but yet you don't taste all three! Very well blended to make this wine a unique taste experience.
