September 17, 2023 - Interesting amount of fruit still left. I've had younger old world sangiovese's that didnt last this long. Kudos to Petroni. This drank very nicely with balance between fruit and earth. Now onto the 2011's!

May 29, 2022 - Decanted for 45 minutes, and then spectacular with meatballs in red sauce. Would advise at least a short decant if drinking in the next few years, and also think this will coast along for another 5-10 years at a minimum. This is a fantastic Brunello! (and yes, I have no problem calling this Brunello despite the fact it hails from the Moon Mountain District of Sonoma). Grazie, Lorenzo!
