April 20, 2024 - Upon opening nutty and some citrus. Given time the nuttyness is reduced and more baked citrus, sea and flint tones. Drinking very well now!

December 27, 2023 - Part one of our St.Aubin night. A lovely wine which comes from a selection of Village level plots but costs more than many Premier Crus. The colour was good being more green white than golden. The nose confirmed the apple. The palate was taut and fresh, the finish elegant and long if perhaps lacking in power. A really nice wine but the price is high.

June 11, 2023 - What an intriguing bottle of wine, one which we had not tasted for three years and certainly unlike what we had remembered. Popped and poured with food (chicken and broccoli bake), it started very taut, almost Chablis like minus the minerality. With more time in the glass and after the food, it suddenly opened out and became almost rich and rounded, almost like a Meursault without the oak.

June 6, 2023 - Pleasant but seemed somewhat fading and lacked the tension of the earlier bottles. An off bottle or is it time to drink it up?

October 14, 2021 - Lovely light straw colour. Slightly restrained initially, but after a little time in the glass it woke up.

The nose has white flowers, a little citrus and a faint whiff of a struck match. The palate is dry, fresh with more citrus but with a creamy texture that adds some body. A delicious alternative to PM or CM and obviously cheaper, but this does not detract from a well made wine made by, in my humble opinion, the go to producer from this Appellation. I have another bottle left and will drink it with pleasure soon. Well worth seeking out to try and #giveanewwineago #burgundynick I always buy a case en primeur @berrybrosrudd this was £21 years ago it's now double that. 90 points
