August 3, 2023 - 1982 Bordeaux theme, Flight 3 with the Haut Brion, another good 82, tertiary, red & black fruits, sweet finish, still had some tannins to suggest it has some years left

February 17, 2023 - There’s some interesting notes of mixed berry and minerals that lend complexity. Sometimes Vieux Château Certan can be somewhat stern and so it was. On its own terms it’s a very good wine yet I still yearned for additional freshness even at this age.

February 1, 2023 - t first not much of a nose, a little thin on the palate But 10 minutes later the flavor explodes. Brambleberry fruits with plenty of tannins. Just wonderful. and it continued to improve. My #2

December 26, 2022 - Base neck fill. Double decanted. Took a few minutes to wake up but really a great bottle. Some cedar and tobacco notes on the nose. The palate has red fruit, leather and a rocky note. Excellent.
