February 26, 2023 - Montreal dinner with ZJ a vibrant and electrically acidic wine. Certainly benefited from a lot of time open / air. Unsure if there is a quality difference with the standard bottling. Much rounder and more agreeable than the 13 hd in Beaune.

September 21, 2022 - A first for me and something I was chasing after. 450 bottles made on this vintage. It's a very precise wine, has some acidity, and falls short compared to a premier or grand cru but for the village appellation, it is a heck of a wine. You can appreciate the work of the winemaker here. Happy I got to try this.

Edit: On day two, I drank the rest warmer and it was in an amazing shape. Very more aromatic at this point. This says a lot about the wine.

May 9, 2022 - What a unique wine experience !! First thought riesling or sauv blanc !
After 2 hours of air. The fruit melted away and it was mineral thunder !!
OK chardonnay ... but chablis !!! Grand cru quality. So much in it ! Never guessed puligny. Not cheap but real good. Im going hunting !!

January 23, 2021 - No. 399/450. How nice to be able to revisit this, a year on, and next to the (admittedly slightly better) 2014 no less. The nose on these two siblings is very similar, showing the same orchard fruit and surprisingly modest reduction. The difference here is while the 2014 seems to waft the acidity to the nose, on the 2015 you get a little more sweetness from the fruit. That's pretty much the same impression on the palate as well -- less of the acid bursting at the seams (though there is certainly plenty here) and more of a roundedness. Perhaps this is the better drinking wine right now, but the 2014 is just a little more... thrilling.

April 20, 2020 - Starts off extremely tight, bound up by smoky reduction. Unfurls to reveal notes of honeysuckle, pure white peach and aniseed. It has great detail and flesh. It is rich and heady but oh so precise. The finish is laden with chalk and is supremely long. Another great H.D bottling from Olivier.
